Privacy Notice
Last updated: 5 October 2026
Miniature Masterworks ("we", "us") is a small UK business selling 3D printed resin miniatures. This notice explains what personal information we collect through miniaturemaster.co.uk, why, and your rights. We are the data controller for this information. You can contact us about anything in this notice using the contact form.
What we collect and why
- Orders. When you check out we pass your name, email, delivery address and basket to PayPal, who process the payment. PayPal shares the order details with us so we can make and post your order. Lawful basis: performing our contract with you.
- Mailing list. If you leave the box ticked at checkout, or subscribe in the footer, we store your email address, name (checkout only), the date, where you signed up and the wording you agreed to, so we can email you about new models and offers. Lawful basis: for customers, the "soft opt-in" for similar products under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations; for footer sign-ups, your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.
- Messages. The contact form opens your own email app; we receive whatever you send us and use it only to reply.
- Basket. Your basket is saved in your own browser (local storage) so it is still there when you come back. It is not sent to us until you check out.
- Visitor statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and load times without cookies and without tracking you across sites.
Where it is stored and who sees it
Order and payment records are held by PayPal and in our order records. Mailing-list details are kept in a private Google Sheet that only we can access. The website is hosted by Cloudflare. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for six years for tax and accounting. Mailing-list details are kept until you unsubscribe; after that we keep only a note of your email address so we don't email you again.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to marketing at any time, or withdraw consent. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
